I write crime fiction and have published thirteen novels, with two more in the Grace Allendale coming in 2020.
My favourite series is The Estate Series. I class these books as ‘chick-grit’ – a mash-up of crime and women’s fiction, and similar in style to the TV programs Shameless and Coronation Street. They about life on a social housing estate, featuring lots of colourful characters, and quite a few nasty ones too. Peppered with humour and a little love, they are the lightest crime I write. If you like Marcie Steele, then The Estate Series might be right up your street.
